Study of the Effect of Minimum Quantity Lubrication on the Surface Roughness of Incoloy 800 during Turning Operation
Abstract
This work investigates the effect of Minimum Quantity Lubrication (MQL) on surface roughness during turning of Incoloy 800. Experiments were conducted under dry, MQL and flood conditions using Taguchi methodology. Results reveal that feed rate is the most influential parameter, and MQL condition produces improved surface finish compared to dry cutting.Downloads
