Abstract

Adaptive filtering is the one of the fundamental technologies in digital signal processing and used in various applications areas in science as well as in industry. This paper presents the implementation and comparison of adaptive algorithm Complementary Pair Variable Step Size Least Mean Square algorithm (CPVSS-LMS) in LabVIEW using adaptive filter toolkit. Simulation experiments are done in LabVIEW to compare the learning curves of the CPVSS-LMS and CP-LMS algorithm. The simulation results show that the CPVSS-LMS algorithm provides faster convergence speed and small steady state error than the CP-LMS algorithm.
