Abstract

Titanium nanotube arrays were synthesized in ethylene glycol as base material. The effects of anodization at voltage and time, as well as chemical composition and pH of the electrolyte bath were studied. Using Ethylene glycol 99.5 % with 0.5% NH4F solution and deionized water 10%wt, resulted in nanotube length up to 430 nm after 1.5 hr anodization time at 65V voltage. Then it is dried in the process of heat treatment at 450’C in muffle furnace for 1- hours annealing. Finally UV- test and SEM to be used to characterize the Titanium nano tubes.
